North American B 25J Mitchell, A47-26, 2 Sqn 79 Wing RAAF Hughes NT 1944.
1/72 Italeri, I thinned the cockpit armor plates, drilled the landing light lenses, corrected the nose gear door position and added some antennae wires, finished in MM enamels with Tamiya X22 + X21 over Aussie decals, built previous to 2004.

A very professional looking build & paint job. It's nice to see one in pristine shape once in a while. When I was Military, we didn't ALWAYS get worn-out looking equipment - mostly, but not always. LoL!

Who doesn't love a Mitchell?! My favorite WWII aircraft, and looks good in the RAAF markings. Another nice model.
