1/48 Hasegawa F/A-18C VFA-151 Vigilantes
This is my latest build, 1/48 Hasegawa Legacy Hornet. For this project I used Eduard PE for the cockpit, twobobs decal, MAW resin for the exhaust, Gunze acrylics paint and Alclad for the exhaust. It was an enjoyable build all throughout.
Excellent work right there, Eric...I can only see (or rather, NOT see) only one thing "wrong" - you didn't give us more pics to look at. 🙂
Oh...and I forgot another thing - welcome to iModeler, my friend.
Thanks Craig. I will post more pictures of her later on.
Excellent finish and looks great.
Thanks Julian
Looks great and agree with Craig
Thanks George. Like I said will post more pics.
A VERY NICE looking F 18. Well done!
Thanks Morne.
Very nice also the presentation on deck!
Thanks Michel!
Welcome onboard, Eric, and congratulations to a commendable first entry. Your surface weathering seems to be first-class, I really like the subtlety of it. Thanks for sharing
Thanks Mr. Editor for the warm welcome.
Hello Eric,
Very impressive with five fuel storage tanks under the belly and wings.
Thanks Dirk. The CAG was ferrying 2 "dry" fuel tanks to a nearby base thus the 5 fuel tanks.
Great looking model! I echo the desire to see more pics...
I added more pictures. Thanks
Much better
Thanks George!
Beautiful !
Thanks C Hoffman
Thanks for the additional photos, Eric...I still say that is one beautiful looking Hornet you've built there. I like that a lot!
Thanks again. Craig. Glad you like it.
Nice Hornet! Great touch on the intake/ exhaust covers. Welcome sir!
Thanks Robert!
More pics! Very nice build!
That was an exclamation of happiness that we got more pics by the way... Read it back and thought it could have looked like a request for even more!
Beautiful Hornet, Eric. Beautiful scheme thos Vigilaties use. I especially like the colors - black & gold have always looked great to me. And the yellow around the canopy is excellent.
Exactly why I picked to model this. It has that appeal to me when I was trying to choose which one I wanted to build.
Fantastic Hornet!
Thank you Sir!
