1/144 Eduard Spitfire Mk IXc
I have just completed this little kit in 1/144. It is my first ever build in this scale and a nice diversion from those huge 1/72 kits I usually build! This was built OOB and painted with AK Extreme Metal and MRP paints. The next one will have invasion stripes! Hope you like it.

Kudos for taking on this scale, Geoffrey, and I love the result. That quarter really puts the size of this into perspective and highlights the skill needed to work on this small scale.
Lovely build with a great finish – especially the contrasting cowling.
But, invasion stripes? You HAVE to be kidding.

A diversion from those “…huge 1/72nd scale kits…” ? Now, THOSE are ‘small’ to ME. ( lol ) but THIS – this is extraordinary in its’ detail, sir. And where did you get that giant quarter? 🙂

Nice!!! I’ll never complain about 1/72 cramping my fingers again.

Where is it, I can’t see it anywhere? Sorry, I was on my iPhone, now it’s on my lap top, it’s probably bigger that it is in real life! Great stuff, Geoffrey, very neat work.

Outstanding, Geoffrey! I wouldn’t have known it is in 1/144 scale without your telling us … and that “giant quarter” as Craig put it. LoL!

Wow, and you apparently didn’t go blind building it. Good job on a mini-me rendition.
