1/48 GWH Italian T-33A Shooting Star
Hello Folks
My last completed build in 2017. This time T-33A Shooting Star from Great Wall Hobby. The kit goes together rather it was built straight out of the box. For this kit, I used Montex masks for a canopy and also some decals for this particular aircraft from Tiger Head Decals. That's it in terms of aftermarket goodies. My completed kit represents the Italian T-33A from 1978 Serial number: 9-33 (MM2980).
Kit manufacturer: GWH L4819
Scale: 1/48
Type: Lockheed T-33A
Extras used: Montex masks and some PE seatbelts.
Paints and colors used: Mainly Tamiya XF-81 RAF Green, XF-83 Dark Sea grey, XF-61 Dark Green.
Thanks for watching cheers 🙂
Perfect works!
Very nice!
Unusual markings. Very nice.
Beautiful job, sir...I love it!
Really nice build. Love the scheme you used. I can see all the subtle detail in the paint such as your shading, and breaking up the color. Really great job. I love the T-33 and happy to see we have a modern tooling of this kit. I just finished an old ACADEMY T-33 myself. I used some older aftermarket resin for the cockpit and seats. Built it on request. Here is a picture of mine.

I ws wondering where this model appeared from when I was clicking through the main batch!
Nice metal finish on your T-bird Paul. Even tough this is old kit look pretty amazing.
Very nice Michal! The finish looks great, and I enjoy seeing subjects in livery other than that in which they were born. I've got a couple of T-33's destined for Bolivian and Brazilian livery.
Michal, well done T-33, in unusual markings, for me.
An excellent T-33, nice to see it in this scheme.
Very nice. T-33's a really nice bird. I like the out-of-ordinary scheme.
Michal, A very nice T-33, I like the paint scheme and markings a lot. Always nice to see something different, especially when its done well like this !
Michal, great build! That crystal-clear canopy is outstanding. It's like the cherry on top of an ice cream dessert!
Very nice looking aircraft
