the June Major Award
Hey Fellow iModelers! My “Major Award” arrived this week! It was pretty cool to be awarded model of the month for June. Thanks to everyone at iModeler for the award and all the kind comments from all my extremely talented peers. I’m looking forward to building the Meng, Me 410. Looks like a nice kit…..Now comes the hard part, just the kit or a part of diorama? What do you think? And by the way, I couldn’t resist the Christmas Story reference. Just keeping it fun! Keep up the great work iModelers!

Congrats and you made a fine choice…………… Either way, built as only the kit or as a diorama, I’m sure you will do a fine job with it. The Kingfisher diorama was simply amazing…………..

Congratulations Gary, well deserved. Love the Fra-gil-ee reference, one of my families’ favorite movies. Actually lived on the west side of Cleveland when it was filmed. And for those that may not know, there actually was a Higbee’s Department store and it was right across the street from Terminal Tower. I say a diorama is in order here.

Diorama? Interesting. I find aircraft dios are difficult to set up without looking too static. There’s a tendency to have aircraft standing on tarmac with a fuel bowser, a few figures, etc., which scene doesn’t usually offer a dramatic twist. (For diorama, read diodrama…
Good luck, and congrats again on the win.
