Bandai 1/72 Star Wars B-Wing Starfighter Limited Edition SDCC
I was lucky enough to find this Limited Edition kit that was left over from the advanced sale at the San Diego Comic Con. I used Vallejo paints, Abteilung Oils mixed with Odorless thinner for washes, and Hand Brush Painted it all.

An undervalued asset to the rebellion, this is. Love that girostabilized cockpit. Great work , John. Even more impressed that it is hand painted.
p.s. you have a little typo in that title.

I didn't even notice that missing "r" until I saw your heads-up and went back to look - funny how the brain assumes what you're reading.

Hi Craig.
In psychology it's got a highly technical name - 'filling in' syndrome

Yes, I studied Psychology in College. It is remarkable what the brain fills in. Did you ever hear of the Mandela effect? Many people believed that Nelson Mandela died in prison, but he was released in the 80's, but he was freed in the 90s, and died in 2013. Another example, it was wrongly recalled that C-3PO from Star Wars was all gold, actually one of his legs is silver. Likewise, people often wrongly believe that the Queen in Snow White says, “Mirror, mirror on the wall”. The correct phrase is “magic mirror on the wall”.

Another line people remember incorrectly is "Luke, I am your father." It is actually "No. I am your father." Just out of curiosity, what are the dimensions of the B-wing? So glad Bandai finally gave us a nice B & Y-Wing model! MPC kinda just glazed over those two.

Yes, my R key has a mind of its own. It sticks. I was able to go back and edit. Thank you for pointing that out.

One of my favorties

I waited months for this model to become available. I was so happy when I got it, and even more surprised that it was the limited Ed.

Or, "these are not the droids you are looking for" - when in fact the quote is " these aren't the droids you're looking for". Yup. I'm a geek...
...or "Luke, I am your father" when in fact Vader said "no, I am your father"...I'll stop now.

Yes 🙂

Yes, right. You do know your Mandela effects. I think Play it again Sam is one also. I think the line is really "Play it Sam".

Love the B Wing... been trying to get a Lego one for a couple of years but cost-prohibitive here in NZ.
Love this model... would be (very) happy to have that in my cabinet.

Good looking model that shows it's seen some action. I am assuming this is you first sci-fi model. Are you planning to do more?
John Richards said on October 1, 2018
I have done almost every Star Wars ship model that Bandai has put out, and some figures as well.
