Belgian Scale Modellers Convention 9th december 2018 “just a selection”
Hello everyone, finaly things are settling down after our house move last month. Slowly picking up with building and finishing some overdue group builds.
Also time to visit one of the last events of this year. The Belgian Scale Modellers Convention is just a lovely event to visit, just over an hour drive from where we live. Lot’s of club presentations, a great contest, live demonstartions on painting etc. and a nice hall with new and second hand traders.
Yes my stash has grown again…
For you all to enjoy, a selection of the photos I took during this event.

That’s some excellent work on display Ferry, especially liked the Crusader being refueled. Wonder how he did it as I can’t see any visible means of support for the Crusader except the fuel line. Thanks for posting.

Finally spotted the acrylic rod, I stand corrected.

Excellent work – love the Crusader/Intruder – and that wave depiction with the cresting ship is amazing.

Hello Ferry,
Thanks for posting.
The A-10 Thunderbolt II, scale 1/48 with every panel opened up was the absolute (Best of Show) winner for me, but as usual not for the jury.
The Viking (1/32 scale) was completely CAD/Scratch build. Never seen anything like it.
Compliments for the excellent organisation of this event. Participants on the event could even park their vehicles inside!
Regards, Dirk.

Nice to see Ferry – some lovely work there – excellent standard all round – I did like the Star Kebab Van – a quirky choice of subject – but a great one – all it needed was some scale kebabs!
Where in Belgium was the convention held?
Ferry Dierckxsens said on December 13, 2018
Hello David, this convention is held in Putte, about 40 km south-east from Antwerp.
In 2019 this will be a 2-day event on 1-2 june 2019.
