January 18, 2019 · in Armor · · 9 · 3.3K

Hello iModelers!

Today i want to show you my Sd.Kfz 124 i have builded last year!

Itβ€˜s the kit from 1996 #35200 not the new one that came out last year, but still a great modell! typical it was a very easy assembling and i only add a few modifications, like cables for the radio and a few equipment parts!

It shows a vehicle of the 2. Panzer Division in the Normandy in 1944!

The paint was done with acrylics from vallejo and weathered with acrylic washes and pigments also from vallejo!

Hope you guys enjoy it!

  1. Great job!
How did You gather strenght and patience for acrylic washes πŸ™‚ ?
I have full Vallejo range of their washes but I've switched to AK and Abteilung, I didn't have patience for acrylic effects πŸ™‚

  8. Great work! Looks very nice, especially on the weather side. I am working on the same model right now.
Quick question: How did you order painting. Did you fully assemble and paint afterwards or paint right side, left side separately, do details and assemble together once painted?
