Takom, IDF, Merkava 2b in 1/35
Hi guys, this is my IDF, Merkava 2B in 1/35 by Takom.
built almost straight out of the box.
colors and weathering effects by Ammo-mig (most), Tamiya, AK.
An excellent model with very close to perfect parts fit.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Stellar workmanship, my friend...excellent result indeed.
Thank you Craig!
Simply amazing allon! ?
Thank you, Patrick!
As Craig says, stellar work. I particularly love that flat effect you get in the finish. I can’t quite put my finger on what it is about it that finish I like so much, just looks ‘hyper-real’.
Quite brilliant work, Allon.

Thank you, David!
The finish is highly diluted mate varnish, that's all?
Nice!
Thanks Robert!
Definitely a Goldilocks build. Nothing over stated and weathered to perfection. Of course if you've been around IDF equipment it would make perfect sense to have a feel for the look and substance of the real tank. All of which has been done here. Another strong candidate for model of the month.
Two thumbs up on this one.
Thank you, Stephen!
Yes, being a part of an artillery unit in the IDF, really helps to understand how these vehicles may look like ?
Allon, This is excellent, a very realistic look. I would love to see this on a nice diorama. Well done !
Thank you so much, Terry!
What would the call sign (numbering) be for a company commander?
Fantastic
