Some strong modeling of a bad guy's airplane. I've read where the Germans would use captured aircraft to either shadow bomber formations or go on over night missions to allied held territories and do what ever. There is a story out there that the Italians had captured a P-38 and used it to suck-er in B-17s to shoot down. The pilot would form up with stragglers and then get them to think a little friend had found them and all was well.
It must have been a strange experience going after a allied aircraft to shoot it down.
Really nice metal finish. I particularly like the way you can see the shadow of the previous markings on the fuselage, with the German insignia painted over. Very subtle and effective.
VERY well done, Josef! I'd like to do a group of aircraft all painted in the colors of their captors. It's a part of the air war (and ground war as well) that we don't see much about.
This Mustang has a great natural finish with the weathering, especially on the underside, being excellently done, but not OVER-done.

Good result on that captured P-51 - I always wanted to try that on a build, but never did. Yours turned out great! I like it.

🙂 … Greetings … 🙂 :
A Mustang in different clothing … very nice job Josef. Using the enemies weapons against them is so natural and a big psyche edge.
