The Mantis – The AG(anti-gravity) bike

August 20, 2019 · in Sci-fi · · 21 · 2.3K

Yes. It's another . I told you, I was into the anti-gravity mood. 😉 Original kit bashing, using parts from the same kit and minor other parts to create this beast. The engines are electrical shells and many small bits and pieces ranging from bits from other kits. I add the energy-propulsion-lightening effect to the Mantis. I thought, this would give an extra edge.

It's not perfect, the way I would have liked it, but it does add to the effect. I would have loved to have knowledge, to know how to make the light effect on the propulsion lighting more effective. But this will have to do until I grow in knowledge in that area.

  1. Dude - that is one strange-looking critter! You've definitely got the creative touch. The paint and weathering are excellent, which is your usual "icing on the cake."

  2. It seems more than interesting.
It's something different with a good presentation, this mix of motorcycle and star wars thing seemed more than interesting

    Congratulations

  3. Yep! I'm all about weird and interesting. It's just a mix of real and sci-fi creativity. Basically a pod racer influence, of course. 😉

  4. I knew it was a King Masterpiece before I read the title!

    Nice Job Mr King.

  5. You never cease to amaze with your presentations, sir.

  6. Inspired by Star Wars not doubt. Something Anakin Skywalker must of raced against. The 64.00 dollar question just what sat on the racer? What did it or he or she look like? Another bright and innovative model from Charles Inc.

    Two thumbs up.

  7. Absolutely amazing work.

  8. A truly unique model Charles, thanks for sharing this marvel.

  9. That is awesome. Well done Charles!

  10. Thank you Geir.

  11. Kind regards Gary.

  12. Fantastic work as always, Charles 🙂

The thing is that it looks so real that I have no doubt that it will actually be fully operational 😀

  13. 🙂 … Greetings … 🙂 :
Amazing model Charles, the weathering is very well applied and very convincing. This is truly a refreshing project to set eyes on. A very good example of letting ones imagination flow and manifest itself. Thanks for sharing the images.

  14. Charles, the quality of this interesting vehicle is superb. As is EVERYTHING you build. The weathering makes it look totally real and believable. Luke might've had trouble with this one in a race! GREAT imagination, Sir!

    Keep up the good work.
