Mirage F1 AZ 1/32 Scale, Scratch Build. Part 10
Well its time for another up date on the F1 project for all you die hard followers out there, it has made for some interesting progress the last few days, here is a basic outline of what I have done, as you all know, I'm sure, everything is scratch built so patience is the key, even though I have lost it on quite a few occasions and had to re make components during this build so far.
- Scratch built the leading edge slats and combat flaps.
- Scratch built the flaps, this is not shown as they will be installed after painting, I will add pics on the next update.
- Started with the panel lines and riveting, this is still in progress and will take a little more time to complete.
Hope you like it so far, its really starting to look the part, I hope you all agree.
If you have any questions, please send me a PM and I will get back to you.
regards
Marc
Builds from "scratch" - I wouldn't even know where to start. Amazing stuff !
Hey Craig, thanks a mil for the comment mate.
This is fantastic Marc! Somehow I overlooked the previous posts, so I went back and looked at them. Wow! (That's an understatement!) Definitely amazing.
Hi Gary, so glad you like it, Its become a labour of love.
Holy cow! Lovin' it!
Cheers Greg, it must be the sea air here in Cape Town that's making me do silly things with plastic card.
We're not worthy! We're not worthy! 🙂

The link wouldn't open up for me. It directed me to a Spectrum Cable site.
Getting it sorted Louis.
This is such an amazing project! You wouldn't believe it if someone told you this is from scratch! I learn from every thread you launch, Marc!
Thanks for the kind words Michel, much appreciated.
Amazing work!
Thanks for the comment Robert.
This is such unbelievable work; your skill, patience & eyesight are just so good that I have difficulty with the term 'scratch built'! I just want to see more...
Hey Tony, the eyesight not so great, Patience is there, still working on the skill factor, thank you for your kind comment.
Another excellent posting Marc... Two thumbs up and a great big "Liked" !
Thanks for the comment Louis.
🙂 … Greetings … 🙂 :
On Monday, I was thinking of this one. The lack of electrical power here was starting too fail as Tropical Storm Karen approached . But as soon as I logged in … there it was.
Beautiful clean work all around Marc. It is looking very much like a piece of art. This is a pure joy to see and a very good show of skill. I told you I will be following this one and here I am.
Thank you for posting these images.
Thanks for the kind words, hope all was ok after the storm.
