  1. Joseph, your model has an excellent NMF, and the weathering looks restrained and realistic. What is your opinion about those weathering pencils you used? Are they supposed to be used like a normal pencil and one just “writes” around the model?

    • Thanks. To tell you the truth I am still experimenting with them. So far it's a positive and can be wiped with water on a semi matt surface. I used them similar to pencil use but probably there are other techniques.

  2. Another great-looking NMF finish, and love that scheme with all the yellow touches around the perimeter - really sets off the NMF. Love it!

  3. Great finish. I’m a fan of KW Mustangs.

  4. Having just written fairly extensively about the F-51 in the Korean War in my new book "MiG Alley," your model does a really good job of "bringing the story to life." I like it a lot, it looks like a well-used battlefield brawler. Nice work all around.

  5. A stunning Stang! Great job.

  6. It is always nice seeing a remembrance of the “Forgotten War”, so-called. Your weathering is perfect. Thanks for sharing your build.

  7. Great looking finish. Smooth. Controlled. Well done. G
