Thank you Robert Royes, aka roofrat!
A late arrival, mostly due to me because I havent been here in a week to check the mail, but I would like to thank Mr. Robert Royes, who sent me this 1/48 scale M4 Sherman and Fw 190 by monogram. This came with a display, so keep an eye out, Robert, as you have provided me with my first ever diorama! And thank you so much. I still can't believe that you and the others decided to do something so kind to make my Christmas really nice and happy.
Now that's what I'm talking about ! Very nice of you Robert...
I can't wait to see how you paint these two kits Jordyn. You're going to be busy for a while...
Kudo's Robert!
That look likes a great Monogram kit, Jordyn. I don't know if I've ever seen that combined set before. And I didn't know Monogram ever made 1/48 armor. (Even this old dog can learn something new). I'm curious, did it come with a Shep Paine diorama pamphlet?
Enjoy!
That would be a negative.
Too bad. His included pamphlets, with Monogram kits, were truly inspirational. His dioramas were more than just masterclass modeling, they told a story. True test of an artist.
Yeah, I've heard alot about his included monogram stuff. I think it's so cool.
Great to see this combination - wonderful gesture Rob!
I'm looking for ward to this build Jordyn!
The Sherman is actually the old Aurora kit, Monogram acquired some of the molds, There was another combo kit which featured the Aurora Panther tank and Monograms P-51.
Ahhhhh, got ya... thanks, Robert!
Yes, thanks Robert. I cant wait to get started.
Robert Royes...Philanthropist and all round great guy. Look forward to seeing this take shape, Jordyn.

“Reports of my demise have been greatly exaggerated...”
