SG-38 Schulgleiter, 1:72, Liberec 1946
There were many training gliders SG-38 left by german army after WW2 in Czech. One of them is represented here. We remarked them to ŠK-38 Komár (Mosquito). At these days we can see many amateur replicas built due to simple construction, so they can still be seen flying somewhere in Europe.
It was quite long built as was not able to make a step to painting it and add all these wires. This is first time for me when I painted whole-fabric wings and first time for bracing wires.
The kit is very small and so the details, however I added belts and reworked some sheaves.
I am really glad to have at least one airplane from my hometown in my collection, even if it is so small 🙂

🙂 … Greetings … 🙂 :
A very nice modeling piece Martin, simple yet so pleasing to watch. The painting scheme really adds to it’s appeal, really nice modeling.

Wow – looks fantastic – very real-looking, and in this scale that’s hard to pull off!
