Burma Banshee P-40N,Academy 1/72,Teeth and Fang.
Another P-40, can you stand it! The Academy kit gives you a choice of doing a M or a N version I’ve done a M once before . I originally intended to use the kit decals but as in the past the Academy decals in this kit gave me trouble, so I let it sit without markings, that is until I saw David Kopielski’s great build of this kit, using Rising decals Burma Banshees sheet, thanks for the inspiration, David. I quickly ordered a set, I chose White 61 of the 89th FS,80th FG. India,1944. Which appears to have a mixed set of cowl panels. Rattle can paint as usual.

Well done! That’s a unique set of teeth, and looks darn intimidating. Love the profile shot.

Nice work and great subject, Robert. Every one of those skull painted P-40s was noticeably different.

Nice work! Glad I could inspire you! One can never have enough P-40’s. And the Burma Banshee’s had the unique nose art.
