1/72 Italeri Chinook HC.1
RAF Chinook used during the Falkland War built from the Italeri CH-47(HC.1) kit no 064. Built straight from the box, but modified some details according to the photos I found on the net of this Chinook. Still there might be some mistakes especially to the antennae fitted, but the window configuration should be ok according to the photos. Also, Italeri shows the Chinook fitted with twin search lights on the box, and the instructions, but I found more photos of the period of Chinooks fitted with one large search light although not of this particular aircraft, so I might again be wrong here. Paints are from Humbrol 163/164/85.

Nicely done. The RAF scheme looks fantastic on this old whirly bird!

What a great model, Gordon!
This scheme looks very mean.
Got the 2001 Airfix copy, wanting to backdate it as a Hellenic Air Force CH-47A (cancelled Iranian order, wearing rare Asia Minor camo!!).
