Hobby Boss Douglas A-4E Skyhawk 1/48
Hobby Boss Douglas A-4E Skyhawk in 1/48, converted to IAF A-4 Ahit from the 147 squadron “Flying Ibex”.
Scratchbuilt the characteristic turbine exhaust extension with 15mm styrene rod and miliput for the fairing and moulding. Borrowed and extra MER from a previous HB A-7K build. Decals were IAF-60 Isradecals. Paints are a mix of Mission Models and Vallejo acrylics as needed.
Hope you like it.

Amazing job on this Rene ,I just finished an IAF A4 yesterday but it’s not a patch on yours. Does the HobbyBoss kit have movable wing slats ? Great work on the paint scheme.

An outstanding build, Rene.
IDF camo is one of my favorites, so a double like!
I can imagine the Hobby Boss kit is good?

Lovely build! Love the IDF schemes (I’m just finishing up a Kurnass 2000), and the Skyhawk looks good in any livery. Great job on this.

Beautiful little Skyhawk, Rene. Yours is one of the nicest IDF versions I have seen built. The airbrushed camo is very subtly and skillfully done with very authentic looking colors. I also like the weathering. I imagine all of those bombs must have been difficult to attach together. I had a real challenge with the smaller load on the Skyhawk I did. .
