Monogram 1/48 AV-8B
Hello gentlemen,
This is my latest work.
It take more than 25 years for complete.
I had started it in my age 25 and finished it at 50.
So I didn’t touch up the cockpit that I made 25 years ago.
Thank you for watching my work!
25 years as a shelf queen must be a record Jonghwan. The fact that you have such a large time gap between the work you did in the cockpit and the remaining build process of the kit is not perceived in my eyes... and I mean that as a compliment because the build looks very solid, exquisitely painted and weathered. A great job!
That's a truly great Harrier, Jonghwan!
Every model, I believe, deserves to be built, let alone to be finished.
So, you did it!
25 years is a long time, yet your model looks like it was made a few days ago. This creation of yours deserves a #9 rating on a scale of 1 to 10.
Cheers for a job well done over the decades! RJW
Now that is a long term project. And I thought taking over 15 years to complete a Tam Lancaster was a long time. I have had this kit about this long with the AMRAAM update set which requires major surgery to build it. I have been contemplating lately to start on it, but got a few already in work and some about to start. Still a well done Harrier, some reviews have mentioned that this kit is a bit more accurate in shape compared to the much newer Hase kit. Great paint scheme, an overall excellent model, well done and thanks for sharing.
25 years! And that cockpit is "up to today's snuff." Recalling what a dog this kit is, your result is really outstanding. The paintwork and exterior detailing is superb.
🙂 … Greetings … 🙂 :
A job well done Jonghwan. Nice cockpit work as well as the seatbelts.
Thank you for sharing these images.
A wonderful kit Jonghwan.
Although it took you 25 years to complete, the results are fantstic.
I really like the cockpit.
The imaging of the Harrier is also nicely done.
Excellent build! This was one of the first kits I built when I first got back into modeling - probably 35 years ago.
