P-51D Tamiya 1/32 Scale All metal skin! “Tattie Bus”
Well here she is! This will be my last metal skin build for a while! Such a pain to do this technique lol.
This is the 1/32 scale Tamiya kit, nice kit, few fit issues but nothing really bad. The metal is the difficult part, hand cutting all the panels and adding all the rivet detail is a royal pain.
I am pretty happy with the finished build. Now onto something that requires no metal!

Stunning! I can see why you wouldn’t want to do this all the time but I think the result here is well worth all the effort. Congratulations Rick, she’s a beauty!

This is a work of art – again – Rick!
Stunning indeed.
You said you would stop (at least taking a long break) metal skinning after the first Starfighter, but you didn’t.
Please don’t stop! These are masterpieces!

Thanks my friend! I think 3 metal builds in a row is enough for awhile π Next I will be doing a car….NO METAL…lol
