Great looking razorback! The cowl of the Jug made a great canvas for pin-up figures.
Great work and thanks for the info on the decals. Very impressive result.
Another super heavy looking Thunderbolt.
How did the sight work if there was a central post in the front windshield?
🙂 ... Greetings ... 🙂 :
Very attractive Razorback and photos Darren. Nice clean work, now, can we see more jugs ?
Thank you for sharing these pictures.
This is an impressive looking Thunderbolt, Darren.
Great Razorback, Darren!
Loving all these Jugs! Nice, nice job, Darren. Inspiring!
Another great post. Keep them coming.
This is stunning Darren, those panel lines are so sharp, the canopy is perfect and the paint job is outstanding. Congratulations!
Great looking Jug Darren, you don't see many PTO P-47's at shows etc, even though they did an exceptional job in the PTO. No press I guess.
A good read is Race of Aces which focused on 5th AF P-38 & P-47 units in New Guinea, recommended!

Love all your Jugs, you always seem to find the unusual schemes. This one with the vertical tail numbers and wide black fuselage stripe is fantastic! Man, after I get off my Phantom kick, I may have to start a Jugs collection! Looked at Thundercals site - seems they only sell 1/48 - big let down... 🙁
