Japanese Navy Destroyer Kagero – Tamiya 1/350
Hello everyone, this is my first attempt at building a ship model. I finished it March 2020. I didn’t do any rigging or weathering on this one, maybe next time. I only used the kit’s parts which did not include any railings. Even for 1/350 scale the photo-etch was a little difficult to work with, especially the depth charges. Thank you for any comments!

This is a fantastic build, Christopher @haakon33, even more so as it is your first ship!
A wonderful result!
Good to see fellow modelers dealing with a variety of subjects and great inspiration for me to build my first ship!

I like it Christopher. A very clean build, and a great first ship build. I hope you find the inspiration to do more ships.

Hello Christopher,
First attempt looks great. It shows what a different shape Japanese destroyers had.
Your skills permit you, to add the railing and the rigging. Dig into this on you tube, articles on working with the PE. and so on. It is a study, but worth investing time in it.
