Pilatus PC-9A, 1/48 L&M Scale Kits
A few years ago, I received a 1/48 scale model of Pilatus PC-9 as a gift, which I have been wanting for quite some time. I myself delayed the purchase and hoped for a better model, and in addition, I was deterred by the price, which seemed a bit excessive. After a year of facing the model, however, I can only confirm this opinion. The price of the model is around 60€, which seems unrealistic to me in today’s modeling standards, considering what you get in the box. But if you want to have Pilatus on your shelf at home then the options are limited. I can say that, despite all the problems and obstacles that arose during my work, I enjoyed it immensely. Certainly, the model is not for everyone, which is probably why we don’t see many of them finished. I haven’t actually seen any yet…

Great piece of modelling there. Your Pilatus came out absolutely brilliant. Love seeing a tandem figher plane style aircraft in bright colours and civilian markings.

That is some Serious Modeling Commitment on display, to take what’s in the box and end up with this result. Fantastic work.

Yes, 60€ and still redo entire areas of the kit seems plain robbery. The maker should refund you because your finished model makes it seem a high end product, it’s that good! Love the painting of the seats and the colorful livery

Wow, Anže! What you have done is absolutely fantastic!
This seems to be an extremely difficult kit, with a lot of scratchbuilding involved!
I checked the instruction sheet and found out it is more a suggesstion than actual instructions.
You were on your own with this build and you did an absolutely amazing model!
Congratulations!
