Yak-3 JRV, 116 LAP, Hasegawa 1/72
Hi to all
Another Yak from Yugoslav air force finished, this time in standard VVS colors.
Well known model from Hasegawa, with all its faults. After trying to correct most of them, filling wrong panel lines, little correcting of wing shape, adding some rivets and detailing cockpit, finalized with AK Real colors and weathered with Tamiya pastels.
Camouflage differs from standard pattern on VVS planes as some of part of fuselage are repainted after repairs. Also white tips are temporary exercise markings
Plane is from 116 LAP, JRV September 1949.
Hope you like it, regards Djordje

This is an excellent result, Djordje!
Good improvements over the Hasegawa base kit.
Well done!

I’m afraid I have no knowledge about this Hasegawa kit, perhaps because I build almost exclusively in 1/48 scale, but that is irrelevant because the finished model looks very nice, with a good paint work imo

Nicely done Djordje, lightly weathered, looks good.

A very good looking Yak, Djordje.
That paint work and subtle weathering is great.

Excellent! I've got another Yak-3 to build (1/72 also), and really like the Yugoslav markings. I may mirror your build.
