Bristol Beaufighter TF.X Revell 1/48

January 31, 2021 · in Aviation · · 12 · 1.7K

This is my last creation. It is a Bristol TF.X from in scale. I simply say here that I modified the whole model a lot.

So to start, I wanted some two 1/48 scale motorbikes and I liked the beaufighter from revell. the whole interior of the fuselage was absolutely

cool. There are some electrical cables in the cabin, but otherwise nothing much (it is still known that there is not much to see: D). The problem occurred when I was

he wanted to attach wings, they fit pretty badly, I even had to fill them with plastic plates to fill in the gaps. I chose the open versions

flaps and I decided to open one engine, it is not possible according to the instructions, but after a slight adjustment it was quite successful.

rather a box with a stick, so it was immediately clear to me that I had to replace it. Otherwise, the building was fine, except for the wings. Then coloring, first I'm the whole thing

to argued and then painted the first bottom with "sky" color and then the top with "ocean gray 2" color. Then there was a minor problem with the invasive streaks, if I were

painted first, it would be a lot easier. The decals were quite firm, but they were not thick, so I'm happy with them. I also made it light

patina wear, which I'm pretty happy with. I'll still be a little addictive, but I won't put it here anymore. Well, that would be my feeling from a beaufighter

from revell.

  8. Simon: Great job. Hard to believe this appears to be your fourth kit you've ever built. Really liked your Subaru too. You're a real pro already.
