Russian Heavy Tank KV-1 Model 1941 Early Production , Tamiya
the new version of the KV1, nice kit. Decal says “for Stalin” so I have been told. Watched a few tutorials on how to do battle damage, seemed to turn out ok.

Nice work! I personally am smitten with WW2 Russian armour because of the raw power, construction and overall grit and punishment combat vehicles in the field went through. I must purchase this kit, Tamiya makes the model for the modeler! Keep your stuff coming! There aren’t enough armour subjects on here.

I love your work a lot, Jon.
The KV-1 looks very realistic and finely weathered.
The figure is very nice, too!

It definitely looks “heavy”, nice work with the tracks, definitely liked.

🙂 … Greetings … 🙂 :
Nice work on this model Jon.
Your weathering touch gives it a unique look.
I have mine still unopened, seeing yours gives me a sight of what too expect.

Really impressive KV 1, Jon. The weathering is very convincing (especially the splashed on appearance of the mud) and the track sag is just right. IMHO , the success of an armor model is all in how imposing it looks close up. Your model looks like the real thing – a heavy battle-weary beast. Quite an illusion for 1/35 scale. Great job.

Well done. Very realistic weathering and bullet marks.
