F4 Phantom Marines
I was building my second thunderbolt but got tired of sawing the resin gunbays and engine plus my razor saw broke. I had another 1/32 phantom in the stash and decided to build that. This time I tried following the paint and decal scheme as closely as I could but still wasn't able to paint the white color with a paintbrush. I chose this particular scheme because I really liked the blue and grey.
That's a great big Phantom, Amari!
Love the scheme!
Thank you Spiros Pendedekas @fiveten !
Gotta get cracking on that airbrush Amari. It makes everything easier and better.
Which isn't to say that what you have done here isn't very nice, because it is. Very nice.

Thank you Tom Cleaver @tcinla. I got an airbrush a few days ago and plan on setting it up in the following week.
Th3en you get to spend the rest of your modeling career learning something new - the airbrush is a continuing mystery. 🙂
Great build, Amari.
In 1/32 this F4 is huge.
The scheme with the blue accents is well chosen.
Thank you John vd Biggelaar @johnb.
Resin sucks! Phantoms are usually impressive in any scale, and certainly in 1/32, especially in this colour scheme, definitely liked.
Thank you George Williams @chinesegeorge.
Looks great and I definitely like the scheme. I don't envy your efforts at trying to brush on white.. many moons ago, I did so many kits with brushed on white... Imagine an AMT 53' Vette with brushed on white enamel, for example. For what it's worth, as Tom said, you're producing fine results, but an airbrush will someday change your life. 🙂 Cheers and keep on modelling!
Thank you Andrew H @pb_legend. I plan on using an airbrush on my next few builds.
Always love seeing Phantoms, and that scheme is a great one! Well done - keep honing those skills.
Thank you Greg Kittinger @gkittinger.
One Phabulous Phancy Phantom!
Thank you Robert Royes @roofrat.
Very nice Amari - super Phantom
Thank you David Mills @davem.
🙂 ... Greetings ... 🙂 :
A very well done model of the venerable F-4 Phantom Amari !
The blue highlights set's this build apart in a collection, not to mention the scale.
Thank you DE4EVER @de4ever.
