  1. That's a fine build Allan, thanks for sharing it with us.

  2. Looks awesome Allan, another incredible finish.
Looking back through the GB, I can't believe how much weight was required in the nose - well cast too!

  3. Wow! Simply marvelous, one of if not your best helo builds.

  4. Very nicely build Sikorsky, Allan.

  5. Another brilliant piece of work Allan, I love seeing your work .I wish I was half as good at this hobby mate , well done.

  6. Love your work Allan.

  7. Looks fantastic, my friend @kalamazoo!
    Fools the scale, for sure!

  8. Great work, Allan! That MM GSB is one of their paints that I miss.

  9. Nicely done Allen, and a nice addition the Korean War GB.

  10. Looks great ! I built two of these Italeri kits. I did an "A" in RCN markings and a "B" in American RESCUE markings with floats. Both turned out good. I used Leading Edge decals for the Canadian version and added some scratch built details re. photos. The float was OOB and didn't need any nose weight.
The RCN had 3 of the "A" version for evaluation purposes as far as I know, so the box art is a bit misleading. I don't know of their service duration.
    Cheers !

  11. That's a good-looker! When I think of choppers in Korea, all I think of is the MAS*H aircraft! I never realized these larger birds were already flying.

  12. Hello Allan,
Another famous workhorse in the Sikorsky line.
From the tropics to the Antarctica, it survived anywhere.
Many users, but luckily you did the "Semper Fi" version.
    Regards, Dirk

  13. Great job on this build, I love the finish on it. Everything looks so sharp and clean, plus the loop antenna, aerial wire and super clear parts...
