Gloster Meteor Mk4 Fuerza Aérea Argentina – MPM 1/72
Hi guys! This is the Gloster Meteor Mk4 Fuerza Aérea Argentina. Represented as it was on March 1959, from the Grupo 2 de Caza Interceptora.
The kit has some nice addings of PE and resin, but was at least difficult on the assembly. Was really hard to fit the resin panel on the cockpit and the wing roots, to fit the fuselage, had to bu cut and reshaped. Passed all that went really smooth.
Primed with gray, sprayed Alluminum from Vallejo all around as a base. Strips painted with Tamiya. Sealed everything with some Future and went with panel lines and decals. Sealed again and weathered with various oils. Went to represent a used aircraft without being too heavy. Matt varnish with a couple drops of Future.
Decent result after all, hope you like it!
Great build of a difficult kit. The F4 is my favorite Meatbox. Thanks for sharing Martin!
A beautiful Meteor, Martin @valkyriepm
The aluminum and weathering is looking superb.
Amazing result out of this challenging kit, Martin!
Completing an MPM is an achievement by itself; add to that your amazing result and we are talking about a triumph here!
Great job! Beautifully done color scheme.
Nicely done colourfull Meteor Martin.
Yeah, the weathering on the aluminum looks great. Excellent result from a known "difficult kit." A triumph of tenacity and talent over plastic.
Great job on your build, not a shake and bake model to build. The scheme looks great and nice job on the weathering!
Meteors always look great and this one is no exception, definitely liked.
Wow Martin, that aluminum finish sure does look amazing. The striping and weathering look very nice. Unfortunately, I can only hit the 'Like' button once.

This is a very aesthetic and outstanding model Martin.
Very nice and convincing aluminum finish and weathering.
That is a real beauty - love the paint and weathering work, and what's not to like about that scheme! Excellent build.
