Street Battle

October 14, 2021 · in Diorama · · 20 · 1.7K

This came about of necessity. A diorama had been destroyed by a child sometime ago. I decided to re-use items from that diorama together with another diorama to make up for the destroyed one. Most of the figures have been taken from other smaller dioramas together with Newer ones to form this recent version. I have been contemplating a vehicle, such as a pickup, but not too sure. I think the diorama looks good and makes a statement as is. We shall see late on down the line if I change my mind.

  1. Never stopping amazing us, my friend Charles!
What a great idea to use parts of a destroyed diorama and add them to another diorama.
The result is, as always, stunning.
    Congratulations!

  2. Well done, Charles! Looks like a scene from the evening news, LOL.

  3. This looks pretty real to me, they are shooting, guys running forward from the rear and no one is shooting back at them for the moment that was captured. Again amazing work.

  4. A very realistic diorama, Charles @tiking
It clearly shows how hectic a streetfight can be.
Unfortunately these situations occur way to often in real.

  5. Great King-job! Love it! @tiking

  6. You never cease to amaze Mr King. This is absolutely incredible. And where does one get a 1/35 plastic chair?! Amazing!

  7. Add my "well done" to all of the others, Charles (@tiking). Your diorama certainly tells a story, and I think it is very effective just like it is.

  8. Your Third World illustrations are so very good Charles. "Ripped from the front pager" as they say.

  9. Those things happen (unfortunately), but nice salvage job on this diorama.

  10. All too realistic, Charles, not sure if it really needs a vehicle.
