1/72 Zvezda Su33d
After some time, and after some unpublished projects I decided to put something online.
So, this is the Zvezda’s Su33d in 1/72nd scale. This is the rebox of their Su27. In fact Su33 is naval version of Su27 so main parts are the same.
I did some other projects before this one, I got married in that time, so I really didn’t have any time.
Only few assembly problems were with cockpit putting together with he fron landing gear. Also, Zvezda’s color callouts are simply terrible. Their recommendatiotns are terrible. All shades are wrong. So I turned to Mig Su33 set. This is painted with their colors, but I’m not satisfied with their shades, especially with the main color which is a little bit brighter. Also, dark blue is a little bit darker. I tried to brighten it with oils, and darken the lighter shades.
I did jus a little bit of weathering because this is the new plane, used on aircraft carriers and it is maintaned with cautios.
So, this is it, a little bit for fun.
This is just preparing for the something much more bigger, and that is 1/32 Mig29 in Serbian colors which would be very serious project.
Stay safe, and keep modelling. Feel free to comment, cheers!

First of all congratulations on your marriage, Djordje @sheol
A beautiful build of this Su33 with an excellent scheme.
A MiG29 in 1/32, that will be huge.

Thank You for the wishes 🙂
I hope that I'll mix the proper shades for Mig 29 because Serbian colors are a little bit tricky 🙂

Neat work on this, your wife must be very understanding to let you build a 1/32 MiG 29, perhaps you are still in the “honeymoon” stage of your marriage. Congratulations by the way.
