Tamiya 1/35 T72M1
Greetings, my 4th post here.
I am really grateful for all the comments !
Here is Tamiya T72. Easy to build and looks good. I am trying to depict a vehicle in Syria.
Should have sanded the seams on the turret main gun more.
Sandbags and others made by epoxy putty.
Figure from Hobby Boss.
Thank you and have an awesome day.
Cheers!
Another very realistic-looking result.
thanks Tom !
Amazing build, Gilang @alchemaniac
Especially that first picture looks like it is a real one.
Nice work on those extras like the sandbags.
thank you John ! The first pic is my fav too 🙂
Really great, result, Gilang!
Well done!
thank you Spiros !
You can only sand a two piece cannon barrel so much before it gets out of round and that's much worse than a small almost invisible line. I assemble mine with generous quantities of LPC and squeeze them together until I get a ridge of slurry out of the joints, then shave off the ridge once dry. Cutting off the locating pins and giving the parts a swipe or two on sandpaper (flat sanding) does not hurt one bit either.
You are too modest sir the model is wonderful
thanks for the tips, Mark. Cheers !
@alchemaniac, That is a great looking tank! I love all those added cultural details and accoutrements! They really bring your tank to life Gilang! So well done. ?
edit to add, yes, that first photo looks like the real thing; superb realism there! ?
Thank you Gary ! I googled a lot of images for references and just combine the elements into one vehicle ! 😀
WoW! Really well done, Gilang! @alchemaniac
When I saw the first photo, I thought it was of a real T-72 !

Incredible build Gilang!
