Tamiya 1:48 T-55
Another Tamiya quarter scale gem. I wanted a short term project so I did this OOB and also did limited the weathering. One error I ran into was that the instructions have you make the cables a little too long. The finished product is another great iconic AFV for the display shelf.

Lovely job here it looks great. The green is convincing and the light weathering is superb.
I once read somewhere that the T-55 has the honor (?) of being the most knocked out tank in the world...probably because the Soviets made a whole lot of them and guys that did not know what they were doing put them up against opponents that were 30-40 years more advanced. At least when hit they seemed to hold together, unlike the T-72 which seems to come apart like a dropped bottle

Nice work, Dennis. I've recently had a desire to build 1/48 vehicles. Good inspiration, thanks!

Nice work! What paint did you use? I am about to get to the stage of a 1/35 T34.

Wow Dennis @dmeyers - I'm not such an armour fan but when I saw yours in the headlines it immediately got my attention - great build, really excellent weathering.

Another fabulous 1/48 build! I like the weathering. Dirty but not overly so.
