1/35 Westwall bunker (1)
It has been a while ,
This time it is a R10 gruppenstand mit kampfraum = shelter with a fighting room.
As seen on the Westwall 1944 /45 , for some the Siegfried line (allied name for it)

I don’t understand how you can post this with what’s going on in Ukraine.

Not so often seen subject, Maarten @piet
Very realistic looking, especially the concrete.

Nice one Maarten
Well made bunkers. Its a great subject but very few modellers touch it. You used plaster for walls I think?
A few years ago
I together three buddies built a whole bunker complex including radars for a local museum. The bunker was a L487 for aerial defence along the Dutch coast and part of the Atlantik Wall.

Thanks Brian,
Yes , I make the formwork just like the real thing... in stead of wood i use plastic strips with simulated wood grain all the steel work is also plastic and i replace the concrete with Model Plaster .
Tigerstellung Terschelling Diorama ?
Brian Kirwan said on March 23, 2022
Not Terschelling but the Biber bunker in Oostvoorne. But ur right Tiger is the same bunker type and they had the same radar types.
