The Monogram Panther was and is a wonderful kit. In some ways, it has stood the test of time. Always elicits memories of watching the “Bridges of Toko-Ri” seeing one of these built.
For us Baby Boomers and modeling grunts its a modeling standard. For the younger generations who discover these kits its a door left open. Great to see a modeling classic see the light of day Marcus. A real charmer of a build.
That’s a cool looking cat! It turned out very well. That Panther is one of my favorite Monogram models. I have two still in their boxes waiting to be built. I wish Monogram had
Followed up with F9F Cougar & F11F Tiger kits n 1/48 scale.
Nice work. The Monogram Panther has never been beat by anyone since in 32 years. Good work on yours.
If you take that decal sheet and cut the "9" so you can pose it as "6" and then cut up the BuNo so you can do 146464, you can do Royce Williams' MiG-killer that he shot down 4 MiG-15s in back in 1952.

Beautiful! Still the best 1/48 Panther. Trumpeter and Hobby Boss just don't look right, and the rivets...the rivets...
