One more for the year

Vintage 1/25 Metal Figure. This issue was from 2003, but the molds are from the 70s I do believe. This was the time they were releasing their range of 1/25 scale Tanks. I added the insignia on the helmet with home made decals, added rivet detail on the helmet and the strap for the MP-40. Overall a fun kit.

  1. You've done one excellent figure, Rob!

  2. Looks great, I remember when they were issued as plastic kits. I build most of them.

  3. Very nicely painted, Rob @robertandy
What kind of paint did you use for the metal.

    • I used Vallejo acrylics throughout, the chipping and silver piping was done with a Gunze paint marker. The MP40 was rubbed with pencil lead then given a wash of Tamiya black panel liner, as was the helmet.

  4. I very like to paint figures! It is very relaxing. You did good koń wit this project.
