Revell 1/48 BFF 109 G-10

January 20, 2023 · in Aviation · 11 · 0.8K

Hi everyone โ˜บ๏ธ

The venerable Revell BF 109 G-10. Has been done to death by probably every modeller on the planet. In my opinion its sheer build ability has influenced its longevity. I had great fun building this kit. I lobbed a few extra bits into the cockpit that I had knocking around, but everything else out of the box. It was a test bed for the newer range of AK Real Colors ( well for me at least ) because my range of the older Aeromaster paints are beginning to get a bit thin on the ground...sadly. Do we need another 109 on the Web I think there is still a place for this old kit. ๐Ÿ‘

  1. Very nice, Guy. Yes, I agree that itโ€™s simple design and basic accuracy make it a still popular kit.

  2. This kit was actually the first "accurate" Bf-109 kit, since the Revell designers took trip to Planes of Fame in the mid-70s and measured and photographed their Bf-109G-10, which at the time was the only original Bf-109 in existence in North America as other than parts for stalled-out restoration projects. It has stood the test of time.

  3. Great job on this classic 109 kit.

  4. Amazing result, Guy!

  5. A great result on this 109, Guy @thom
Your Gustave definitely deserves a place on the Web.
Paint results are very nice, the AK real colors worked well, but ofcourse it requires talent as well to get it done nicely.

  6. Plenty of room on the planet for more 109s, and this is a nice one! Well done.

  7. Excellent build Guy, looks great!

  8. Cheers Bob Thanks for the request ๐Ÿ™‚
