  1. Wow that's quite a build! Excellent all around finish.

  2. A superb build, out of the very challenging Collect Aire kit, Martin!
    Congratulations!

  3. A beautiful result, Martin. The photo captures the wilds of rural Norfolk perfectly as well.

  4. This hobby never ceases to keep me inspired, I have never seen this aircraft type before ,I have never heard of the manufacturer and I have never heard of operation Ju-Jitsu...
You have made an amazing job here Martin, super clean and neat just how I like them, well done.

    • Operation Ju-Jitsu was in 1954-55, when four RB-45Cs were "given" to the RAF (US insignia removed and RAF roundels applied, without a serial number) and were flown by RAF crews on overflights of the USSR. They finally stopped when one was approaching Kiev and the US radio listening post heard Soviet fighter pilots already in the air and at altitude to intercept. The plane was ordered to turn back and the operation ceased since its "cover" had been blown.

  5. This result out of a challenging kit clearly shows your skills, Martin @matra
Very nice work and perfect finish.

  6. Same here, never heard of this aircraft, turns out it was the first operation jet bomber for the USAF, first multi-engine bomber to do in-air refueling, first jet bomber shot down by a jet fighter, over Korea in 1950. Superseded by the B-47 and B-58. Very interesting subject, a cool-looking kit, completed in a beautiful manner. Well done, Martin!

  7. Boy that's a hunka hunka hunka resin! Great result. I bet that's pretty darn big in 1/48, since a B-45 was the size of a B-17.

  8. Where do you get off making something look so clean, so smooth and so easy? And a resin kit at that! Superb.

  9. Now that is a real "Monster" on many levels Martin. Impressive to say the least.

    Two thumbs up.

  10. Well seems everyone else is saying what I was thinking, Martin, @matra. That is an excellent build of what was an incredible amount of resin! Really exceptional, of an unique subject. Well done!

  11. Looks great! Don't see many of those. Well done!

  12. Nicely done, great looking aircraft.

  13. Now that's a build and beautifully done!
