Arriving On My Front Porch This Morning
Nice way to start the day.
Step outside to check the weather forecast against personal experience (we definitely now have Spring after the longest winter I remember in 50 years here in L.A.) and I almost tripped over the box sitting on the porch right in front of the door.
It turned out to be the first six Author's Proof Copies of the new book, which will be released on May 21.
"A Clean Sweep: VIII Fighter Command Against The Luftwaffe 1942-45"
Foreword by my friend BGEN Clarence E. "Bud" Anderson, the last living VIII Fighter Command Ace (102 next month). Bud recommends from experience that all we guys who don't drink enough water get with the program and be sure to drink three pints a day. "If you do that, you'll like life better if you make it this far."
It's the biggest (180,000 words) and thus most expensive book yet.

Tom, congratulations on another publication. I have wanted to write a book for modelers for a number of years now, but always seem to never have the time. I have a few ideas started but between my 50 hour work week, house work, three vintage cars, models and caring for my wife I always seem to put writing at the end of the list of things to do. I am thankful for authors like you that continue to write and keep alive the history of our past, and the accomplishments of the brave men and women of this country.
Great to see “Clean Sweep” is now available at last, Tom @tcinla. Congratulations! Must be a real boost to see this out print after such a rough year.
