100 Ans de Le MansSauber-Mercedes C9

Here's the final result of my attempt at building the Tamiya 1:24 scale Sauber-Mercedes C9, the winner of the 1989 Le Mans race, as my entry in the Le Mans 100 year anniversary group.

This is a very well-engineered kit that builds into a great looking model despite my attempts at mucking it up.

You can read the build thread here: https://imodeler.com/groups/le-mans-100-year-anniversary/forum/topic/1989-sauber-mercedes-c9/.

  7. Thanks Sprios. I'm thinking I should have bought two of these models - one as a "test mule" and the other as the "keeper".

  8. Those body panels look like they fit like a glove! Fantastic result.
