Honda Fireblade Limited Edition
Hi everyone, this is the standard Tamiya 1/12 Honda Fireblade kit with the addition of an after market transfer (decal) set.
Honda decided to market a limited edition of their super bike to recognise the 100th entry of their rider, John McGuinness, in the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy races (IOMTT).
The Isle of Man is a small island off the north west coast of Britain. The roads are closed in order to hold the TT races in June every year. The event attracts thousands of enthusiasts who contribute to the island's economy.

I posted the same bike in Honda's racing livery here a year ago.
Being a road bike it has a side stand.
But I especially like those see through yellow wheels on the racing stand.

This is a truly awesome result and yet another amazing contribution to our Motorcycles GB, George! Really hard to distinguish it from its 1:1 bigger sister. A great build thread, too.

It certainly is. It took some time to build, paint and apply decals to such a minutely detailed model. Very impressive.

Thanks, Tom @tom-bebout, I enjoy taking the photos as much as building the models, I think bikes are probably much easier to photograph than 1/48 aircraft.
