Trumpeter 1/24 Hurricane MkIIc
This turned out to be a very pleasant and easy build. The actual aircraft had the black very crudely brush painted with areas of the original camo showing through especially on the wings. I, however, was not prepared to try and replicate that but I was able to show some of the gray green showing through on the wings.
I painted on the roundels and fin flash using my own masks. I added a Yahu IP, HGW belts, Barracuda wheels and Master barrels.

Yes, I can see the green camo showing through on the leading edge of the wings. Great build.
Thanks John. On the model I was able to apply the black thinly enough in places to produce a translucent effect. No black was actually used on the model.
It's hard to make all-black aircraft interesting, but you did a great job with this one. Very nice!
