ICM 1/32 Gloster Sea Gladiator MK.II
What a fantastic kit.
Any issues and errors in the build were wholly down to me.
I thoroughly enjoyed this one as my first ever 1/32 completion.
Primed with Mr. Finishing Surfacer 1500 Black.
Painted with,
Colourcoats Interior Grey Green, Light Slate Grey, Dark Sea Grey, Dark Slate Grey, Extra Dark Sea Grey, Sky Grey, FAA/RAF Yellow, White and Bomber Night Black.
Tamiya, Flat Aluminium, Rubber Black, Nato Black, Dark Iron, Gun Metal, Clear Red and Clear Green.
Xtreme Metals Steel, Burnt Metal and Jet Exhaust.
Washed and filtered with various Windsor and Newton oils.
Finished with Windsor and Newton Galeria Matt Varnish.
Aftermarket.
Yahu IP and AIMS Rigging.
Master 0.303 Browning Gun Barrels.
I have subsequently painted the pitot tube in silver as I'd forgotten before the pics were taken.
Thanks for looking,
Cheers,
Alistair
Loving this Alistair ! , let me be the first to congratulate you on a great job and what a piece of British naval history, does anyone know if this is available in 1/48 ?
Thanks very much.
Roden do one in 1/48.
Hope that helps.
Also I Love Kit does the Gladiator I and II in 1/48 - a better kit than the older Roden kit (done both)
What a nice Gladiator! Roden makes some nice biplanes in 1:32, and you nailed it!
Thanks very much.
Roden do indeed do some really nice 1/32 kits but this one is ICM.
Although if ICM hadn't done it I would have gone down the Roden route.
Cheers,
Alistair
My bad, I was thinking Roden when you clearly posted ICM! I did both the ICM and Roden Stearman's. They both make nice kits!
Beautiful work, they were such a neat little fighter and a nice looking airplane.
Thanks so much.
Clean Gladiator, Alistair. I like it!
Thank you very much
Well done. Nicely aligned. Gonna have a look at this AIMS rigging.
I used it for my Airfix Tiger Moth and I found they made rigging easy.
Thanks,
Despite it being stainless steel it comes off the sprue easily and fits beautifully
Nicely done. The aftermarket rigging was a great addition.
Thanks so much
The "Alistair Gauld Magic", now in 1/32!
Congratulations Alistair, yet another wonderful result!
Thanks Spiros, but I feel you are being overkind.
That's an outstanding build of a Gloster Sea Gladiator!
Thanks so much
Excellent work Alistair!
Many Thanks

Impressive build!
Thanks so much.
Absolutely gorgeous build, Alistair @alistairfgauld. Great paintjob with that beautiful camo!
Thanks so much.
You donβt see that many Gladiators built, this one came out very well.
Thank you very much
Wow, that is a great Gladiator, Alistair, @alistairfgauld! π What a wonderful success with your first 1/32 kit! π
Thanks that is very kind.
Absolutely amazing result, Alistair @alistairfgauld
This Gladiator turned out beautifully, especially the paintwork is impressive.
Thanks very much.

Well done, Alistair (@alistairfgauld). I thought you were firmly in the smaller scale group, but what a great entry into large kits. Extremely well done, even if it does have too many wings.
Many Thanks,
I do build mostly in 1/72 as that is what I grew up with but have a number of other kits in larger scales.
I just build what I fancy.
A lovely Gladiator - love the scheme, and the paintwork is excellent. Well done!
Thanks very much Greg.
