HMS Prince of Wales 1941, Flyhawk 1/700

This is one of my favourite ships, but I have hesitated to post it because, after all, I had built it a bit long time ago. To be honest, it was my first kit and my first attempt at rigging. Again, as before, I cheated with the photography, but I also used my newly purchased macro lens, and so I hope you will have a look at it.

  1. I am envious of your rigging skills. My first attempt was terrible.

  2. Holy shhhhhhhhhhh...!

1/700? It looks like 1/350. Amazing work. Very impressive.

  3. Fantastic job, Naoki!

  4. Indeed a fantastic result, Naoki @yamanaka
So much detail, even in this tiny scale.

  5. Excellent model. I wasn't aware that Flyhawk did a PoW in this scale. Tamiya yes, and their version I think I prefer. The rigging is exceptional.

  6. Great looking model and good work with the macro lens.

  7. Remarkable work, hats off!

  8. Thank you all for such encouraging comments! Hope more people challenge Flyhawk's ship kits. It requires a lot of patience, but worth it.
