Revell 1/72 Victor K2
The Revell Victor is a 1982 Matchbox mold that builds into an impressive model. Yet, much work is required to eliminate the seam trenches. The engine intakes area is particularly problematic. Also the exhaust area is crudely molded. I adapted spares from the Airfix kit to represent the exhausts.
Nice build of a size beast of a kit.
Thank you Dan.
Very nice looking Victor, Rafi @blackmopane
Not the easiest kit but you definitely got the most out of it.
Thank you John.
Excellent build of a definitely challenging kit, Rafi!
Thank you Spiros!
Great Victor, Rafi. That’s a difficult kit to make look good. Try an Airfix Victor if you want another one. The intakes are really well designed.
Thank you John.
This is my second Victor. The first, was an Airfix. To be continued..
Of the three V-bombers the Victor is my favourite, sorry Vulcan fans, you’ve made a great model from the old Matchbox kit, Rafi.
Thank you George.
Pity that the Valiant kit is expensive...
Well, you certainly turned that moth-eaten woollen ski mask into a nice - dare I say excellent? - model. A triumph of talent and skill over plastic.
Thank you Tom!
Gotta love the V-bombers! I'm also partial to the Victor - such a weird nose shape - unique! Looks great.
Thank you Greg!
