ProModeler Monogram 1/48 Me 410B-1
Another adorable model by ProModeler. It was criticized for panel shape in the tail unit and some fit issues. Yet, overall it makes an eye catching representation of the fighter that did not materialize the expectations.
I added Aires set for the landing bay areas. These cavities were covered by the main undercarriage doors except for the moments of gear retraction and extension. I retained the doors in the open position as if in maintenance to reveal the intricate Aires molds.
Very nice. I REALLY love your mottling of the camo...nice and subtle and not overdone.
Thank you Tom!
Nice one, Rafi. That kit is one that always looked more than close enough to me. The faults were overblown.
Thank you John.
Indeed.
Beautiful work, Rafi, and many thanks for the info about the landing gear doors.
Thank you Christopher.
Accurate or not it sho am a mean looking machine, especially with that big gun hanging out. Like a predatory insect. Beautifully done and as others said the mottling rules.
I notice you are one extremely prolific modeler. Do You knock out one a week or are these past builds built over the years?
Thank you Bill.
Usually, I complete a build in one week. Yet, nowadays I am busy more the photography of old models than building new ones. In all, I accelerated the rate of posting to clear my table for the next thing...
A beautiful looking Hornisse, Rafi @blackmopane
Nicely detailed and great painting.
Thank you John.
Great job, Rafi
Thank you Gary.
Really nice. I totally agree with you that this was one of Monogram/ProModeler's best. You certainly "knocked it out of the ballpark."
Thank you Tom.
Excellent result, Rafi!
Fantastic paint job and weathering!
Thank you Spiros!
Great result, Rafi. Love the camo paint job.
Thank you Chas.
Beautiful job, love this. Makes me want to build another. Stunning job, well done.
Thank you Paul!
Great work. Built one long ago, but didn’t turn out like this.
Thank you Steve.
Another brilliant build!
Thank you Greg!
