In spite of inaccuracies in shape and raised panel surface texture, Monogram's Invader is a comfortable build that retains the characteristic features of the aircraft.
In spite of any inaccuracies in the model Rafi (@blackmopane), it looks like an Invader. Excellent work on this one. And even though raised panel lines can be a pain in the a... to deal with, these old Monogram kits continue to come out as nice builds, in no small part due to the talents of the builders and also to the effort put into the original research (which is generally correct).
Another victory of talent and stubbornness over plastic.
Thank you Tom.
Excellent result, Rafi! Fantastic painting and weathering!
Thank you Spiros!
This Invader looks wonderful, Rafi @blackmopane
Great work on the various metal shades and weathering.
Thank you John.

A lovely A-26 - I'm a big fan of this lethal warbird!
Thank you Greg!
It seems A-26s are cursed in 1/48 scale, but you wouldn't know it looking at yours. Excellent work, and not at all "stinky"!
Thank you Marshall!
Nice work, Rafi. Yes, I’m happy enough with mine too. Any future Invaders will be 1/72 Italeri/Revell for me.
Thank you John.
Well done, and really until the experts pointed out the various shape issues no one ever complained much about Monogram's Invader.
Thank you Rob.
Indeed, with all the shortcomings why pay dearly for something already ignored?
