Bf-109 E-4 Trop and Kubelwagen diorama
My Tamiya 1/48 Bf-109 E-4 Trop and Kubelwagen diorama, finished last Dec 2023, has been waiting for some photos. Here, at last!
Insignias and national marks were masked and painted. A lot of work but I thinks it worth it (see notes on photos).

I did build this same kit but you clearly show that you can get much more out of it.
May I ask how you applied the greenish dots?

I started applying the dots with a mask but it was much tricky so ended up painting them freehand. So, they are a mix of both techniques
Nice rendition of Black 8. How did you make the insulators? Reminds me of my build of HJM's F-4 and Kubelwagon.

The insulators are white glue that I shape before completely dry
Beautifuly done, Manuel. This has always been one of my favorite "E" model paint schemes. This is a real inspiration foe me to build the "E" .model I have and really just to get back to fi fishing the 109 I have 3/4 finished. Awesome work!
