My 2024 builds!
Not a big year but happy with my builds. For the first time in my life I just built jets! The build I enjoyed the most was the vacu-form WAKU, 1/72 Yak-17. My least favorite was PM's Yak-15.
All of my builds are in 1/72 scale, they are all old kits from the 70's and 80's.
These are the kits I built:
- KP - MiG-17
- KP - Yak-23
- WAKU - Yak-17
- PM - Yak-15
- Matchbox - F-5A
Hopefully I will get to build more in 2025, have a great 2025.
An excellent modeling year with equally excellent subjects, Bob! Wishing you a happy, prosperous 2025!
Thank you Spiro @fifteen, Happy 2025! 👍
All equally beautiful, Bob @v1pro
Especially considering the scale. Well done.
Wishing you a wonderful and healthy 2025.
Thank you John @johnb and have a great 2025! 😊
G’day Bob (@v1pro),
This is a great set of builds.
The early Russian jets are an intersting bunch.
Happy 2025.
Thank you Michael @michaelt, building the early Russian jet was pretty interesting. I got to learn a few things that I did not know. Happy 2025!
Well done, Bob!
Happy 2025 and happy bench time
Thank you Gary @gwskat. Have a great 2025!
Compliments to you,Bob!
It’s like someone going camping with bare essentials and coming back after writing a 5 part symphony!
All great builds, still partial to the F-5 though.
Thank you George @georgeswork, I started the MiG-17 and F-5 at the same time, the MiG was first to get done, the F-5 was the last build. And somehow I had a Yak attack and built 3 of them. It was fun and very unplanned. 😁🍻
Nice work Bob, and I'm glad that you pick unusual subjects quite often! Well done, and have a fantastic 2025.
Thank you Greg @gkittinger. All and all I really enjoyed these builds, researching their history made these builds very interesting especially on the 3 Yaks. You have a great 2025 too!
Bob @v1pro , those are all great looking models. You really do nice work with those old kits
Thank you Jay @ssgt. I enjoy the old kits. Maybe this year I will try to build a more modern kit.
Love that red Yak, nice collection.
Thank you Robert @roofrat! That Red Yak was not my favorite build but I am glad it is done and it looks good with the other Yak models.
