Revel 1/48 P-40B

December 20, 2017 · in Diorama · · 14 · 1.7K

This is my first post and I'm happy to be apart of the society. This is my P-40B from Revel. The tow cart is from a B-24 as well as the crew. Please note the base ball cap on the driver of the tow cart. Base ball was a popular sport in the 40s so I wanted to put a little "Easter Egg" in it.

  9. Nicely done, those old Monogram kits (in a Revell box) you just can't beat them!

  12. Oliver, the Old Monogram P-40B is longtime favorite. I was really excited when it came out, and it still can hold its own against most of its would be successors. Hoping for an aftermarket replacement of the Clecktrack tractor, with more detail. Used everywhere the AAF was, and since we're finally getting 1/48th vehicles, maybe this, too. Uncle Bernie wants a Dodge Command car, too.
    Greta Dio!
